To match the quality of programming content to the quality of the venue, this year’s line up includes artist spotlights on Saskatoon animator Dennis Jackson, Calgary’s own Chad Van Gaalen, animated shorts that have screened in 2008’s Edinburgh International Film Festival, Hiroshima International Animation Festival, and Canada’s own Ottawa International Animation Festival to name just a few, and a special presentation of An Evening With Don Hertzfeldt at which the Oscar-nominated US animator will present a retrospective of his works.
