He immediately sets out to share his findings with the world and along his journey meets a variety of eccentric characters whose stories are woven together in an examination of the post-modern meaning of hope. $9.99 is stop-motion puppet animation based on Etgar Keret’s short stories and is directed by Tatia Rosenthal.
