CROSSHAIR ANIMATION
From
ANNA FIRTH
This Event Requires Access to Zoom
Developed as a variation of a technique inspired by simple zoetrope animation, Crosshair Animation is a nice DIY way to animate and experiment!
"My favourite thing about working this way is that it takes very few resources and can be done in one (long) sitting" - Anna Firth

This live, two-day workshop will be taught over ZOOM. Over the two days of this workshop, participants will experience direct instruction with Anna as they create a crosshair looping animation of their own. All loops will then be showcased on the Quickdraw Animation Society Vimeo account with permission from the participants.

Requirements: Participants will need two pieces of paper (we suggest vellum/tracing paper if you don't have a light table), drawing tools, and a ruler, along with computer with PhotoShop or ToonBoom, or an equivalent animation scanner or camera (even a cell phone camera). A light table is recommended, but not required.
