Beginning with a ghostly train ride to the titular sanitorium, the protagonist Jozef discovers that the sanitorium exists at the intersections of dimensions, where time has shifted and the very fabric of reality is distorted. Mysterious, dream-like and Kafka-esque, this film takes audiences on a surreal voyage into the subconscious.
