Louise Flaherty’s Inuit legend, Mangittatuarjuk (the Gnawer of Rocks), allows us to peek into expressive histories with a tale about a dark and twisted creature that haunts the Northern landscape. Plus, emerging filmmakers Hartley Fiala, Jiwoo Kim, Aaren Rackett, Kayla Macneill, Mike Ogston, Justine Pozon, Aubrey Volante, and Sofiya Iurkevych represent Canada’s bright - and animated - future.
