Combine stop motion claymation with 2D hand-drawn animation. In this 3 hour workshop, you'll learn the mixed media workflow Kaho uses in her professional practice, and you will create your own piece using the technique.
Workshop is best suited for animators ages 16+ with previous 2D animation experience.
Kaho is a Vancouver based Japanese director and animator, with a special passion for stop motion and mixed media. Her fresh aesthetic and sharp sense of humor have yielded a widely-acclaimed body of commercial films for clients including YouTube, TED, Lego, Adult Swim, and McDonald's. A Young Guns 2023 finalist, her latest short film 'Tongue' has screened at over 20 international festivals, garnering multiple awards along the way.
