Join us in celebration of the incredible and one-of-a-kind Mike Hooves, as we watch a selection of their animated works alongside a curated selection of short films, plus an exclusive look at their interview for Songs of The Quickdraw Animation Society (screening November 14).

Mike worked to build so many of the communities they were a part of, and Quickdraw is no exception. Starting with their first Animation Lockdown in 2013, they went on to be the GIRAF 11 Signal Film artist in 2015, hosted the monthly LaserDisc and Zine club, performed drag as Mx Jendr in front of the legendary Phil Tippet, and continued on to teach at Quickdraw for years afterward. They left a small but mighty body of work worth celebrating.

Please note that while this is a free event, seating at Truck is limited - reserve a ticket to avoid disappointment!
